1. GDC Registered
2. Able to supply us with two names for references
3. Hep. B Vaccination certificate

What is GDC Registration?

Dental nurses are required to register with the GDC (General Dental Council) www.gdc-uk.org. We are unable to accept any applications from candidates who are not registered.

Qualifications accepted for dental nurse registration with the GDC

• S/NVQ Oral Healthcare Dental Nursing Level
• National Certificate for Dental Nurses
• Dental Hospital Certificate of Proficiency
• EEA qualification which is recognised by the GDC

What If I Have An Overseas Qualification?

The GDC are responsible for assessing the qualifications of overseas dental nurses. If full registration is not granted then they will recommend the individual takes an aptitude examination & has a period of training.
